"Believe?" is Steve's first solo album, from 1997. With this album, Steve entered the progressive scene, definitively breaking away from the standard folk-rock genre by adding heavy doses of odd time signatures, classical, and jazz elements. Still retaining the use of mostly acoustic instruments, this album was the beginning of a volley of prog-folk-rock albums to follow. "Believe?" is comprised of two continuous suites of music - individual pieces (with some recurring themes) which flow from one to the next. Remastered 2006.
