GOZZOZOO is a new French jazz-rock band, led by Didier ERARD (NEO) and Alain GOZZO (ATOLL’s legendary drummer). Needless to say it's going to be huge ! The musical career of the latter is a twenty-five years long succession of meetings with famous musicians, from many musical genres. He uses this experience to create a music that mixes jazz-rock fusion, Progressive rock and latin music. There are nine titles in "Pictures Of The New World" (1998), and they are all filled-up with energy and high technical skill. Some famous musical guests, such as PierreJean GAUCHER (ABUS DANGEREUX), Jean-Luc THILLOT (ATOLL) or Jean-Claude RAPIN (Patrick RONDAT) were part of the experience. Let's also notice an appearance by American bass player Stuart HAMM, regular contributor with Joe SATRIANI.
