The Conscience Pilate
The enfants terribles of the Toronto mid 90's music scene glam-pop-art-rock a la Roxy Music, T.Rex, Bowie, Stone Roses. At the tail-end of grunge TCP made waves in Canada wearing eyeliner and lipstick when all the other boys were in shorts & flannel. TCP released "living in a movie scene", Canada's #1 indie record of 1996, and then split shortly after but not before touring with Manic Street Preachers and recording their second effort, "Sundar Refugees".
Neil Leyton went on to start Fading Ways Records and pursue a solo career. Edward Pond is a photographer: www.edwardpond.com Fading Ways can be found online at: www.fadingwaysmusic.com as well as in the UK: www.fadingways.co.uk Tracks
