The band Xanadu was founded in May 2008 by a couple of local Polish musicians, who felt the need to play ambitious music with a hint of melancholy, yet with some rock inside. This is, in a sense, a continuation of "the old Xanadu" from the 90's - Hubert Murawski (drummer) binds the two bands
Until the time the promo album was recorded in the current line-up ("Violent Dream" - summer 2010) the band was working on their unique sound and compositions.
In our music we try to bind our personal musical fascinations, put them together to create some universal message.
Everlasting searching, existence awareness and real space make us interpret feelings through music and pictures in our personal way. Everything evolves, so our music does, and it is hard to predict where we will all end up.
