Patrick FORGAS' band plays an innovative music in the same vein as SOFT MACHINE or Robert WYATT. The first album "Cocktail" (1977) displays superb compositions, full of invention and melodic research. Gerard PREVOST (ZAO, RAHMANN...) plays strong bass lines, to reinforce a rhythmical section hard as a rock. Clocking at 18 minutes, the superb suite "My Trip" concludes this masterpiece. Today reissued by the Musea label, "Cocktail" now includes no more than thirteen bonus-tracks ! Another essential album of the Seventies Progressive rock scene. "...Sex Move !" dates back from 1987, and includes two unreleased tracks. "L'Oeil !" (1990) offers a music full of ideas and instrumental surprises mixing madness and Robert WYATT's lyricism with a rare musical genius, a great talent of composer and arranger. There are some renowned guests, such as Patrick TILLEMAN, Didier MALHERBE, Jean-Pierre FOUQUEY... Bonus-tracks include two titles from 1975 and 1978. "Art D'Echo" (1993) is still influenced by SOFT MACHINE, as evidenced by the track "Plus Fragile Qu'Une Poubelle" "More Fragile Than A Trash"). This gem is intended as a tribute to the crazy Twenties, and is dedicated to the memory of French author André BRETON. It includes the 20 minute-long suite "My Trip" as bonus-track (From the first album). Here is an essential band of the French Progressive rock scene !
