"I början och slutet" (In the beginning and the end) is Trettioåriga Krigets 7th studioalbum since their selftitled debut in 1974.You can actually say it is their 8th album if you also count "Glorious war-recordings from 1970-71" which was not released until 2004. The album is a natural follow up to their highly successful reunionalbum "Elden av år" (Fire of years)
released in 2004. Many reviewers hailing it as one of the best reunionalbums ever and the best album yet from the band.
This new album is maybe even more symphonic.It contains a song cycle of 12 songs all linked together to form a unity in shape and atmosphere. Of these 12 songs 3 are instrumentals.
The band has spent half a year in the studio recording
and mixing it, and will do a series of shows this fall and winter to promote it.
