Based in 1996 as a cover group, the instrumentalists first worked on a repertoire ranging from Jimi HENDRIX to YES, and including IRON MAIDEN or the obvious DREAM THEATER… This band from Marseille has since managed to obtain a result superior to the sum of its individualities, five musicians as inspired as talented. This kind of a miracle was made possible by a remarkable cohesion, an impressive technique entirely devoted to the melody’s service and the pleasure to play together. Even if John PETRUCCI’s and Mike PORTNOY’s gang appears as an evident influence, the group distillates an unmistakable personality into its powerful music. Don’t fear any Southern-French accent, as the singer Alain PUGET expresses himself like a real Englishman in Shakespeare’s tongue. James LaBRIE is not that far ! The balance between energetic titles and atmospheric sequences is always sensible, quite as the alternation between guitar riffs and delicate piano notes.
