MEDICINE MAN is the name of a French heavy-metal band, influenced by the Seventies and located in Corsica. It was founded thanks to the initiative of Philippe MARIOTTI. After his experience as a drummer and singer for the group TOXIC TWINS and then BUCCANEER, he stated a partnership with the guitarist Bernard REVELLI. The duo creates the eleven tracks composing "Lost In My Dreams" (2002), under the art supervision of John W. JONES. Melting his many musical influences (Jazz-rock, funk...) with a backgroung mainly based on hard-rock and heavy-metal themes, the group wants no label, looking above all for the pleasure of playing together. Soon after the release of the album, the Californian drummer Dave MACKEY joins MEDICINE MAN.
