From Uppsala, north of Stockholm, comes this band founded by keyboardist Hannes Ljunghall and drummer Johan Hedman who together with about today's line up have been a band since 1999.
In 2003 they had their self titled debut album release by Swedish label Record Heaven. The timing was bad, as at that point there was change of personnel and the promotion work kind of slipped away and unfortunately not very much happened.
The new album Kintetic has been released by Progress Records in late 2005. This is a brilliant album with distinct composing and rhythmically complex arrangements, a bit like late days Crimson, but on keyboards. Dashes of Genesis, UK, Greenslad and other more melodic 70's bands can also be found, but performed with the heavier, more contemporary sound of Violent Silence.
Intriguing, disciplined drumming and solid bass playing building the platform for the pretty wild keyboards and the soulful singing is the concept in these melodically brave compositions making Kinetic something really special.
