ARACHNOID is a French major Progressive rock band whose music was built upon anguished melodic structures in the vein of KING CRIMSON's "Larks' Tongues In Aspic" and upon dramatical vocals evoking the best ANGE. The only eponymous album ever recorded by the band dates back from 1978, and is now reissued by the Musea label with a complete biography and bonus-tracks. It displayed elaborated and well constructed music, with strange climates, feverish progressions and sophisticated arrangements.
