TARENTULE is an acoustic group of French traditional music. As MALICORNE, a legendary band of the same years, they worked a great deal on a capella singing and voices, using them as real instruments. Those musicians left a smaller and smaller part to usual folk instruments (dulcimer, recorder...), because they prefered instruments coming from the classical music like French horn and guitar. The Tarentule's members later created the band named Taraf (Balkans' music) and Bernard Lasbleiz, one of the best accordion players from Brittany, created Ti jaz (music from Brittany), a famous band from Brittany. Tarentule, thanks to its great arrangementsdoesn't sound outmoded.
