MORDIGGAN is a French group located in Lyon, created in the end of 1997 under the name STIGGMA. The musicians offer a first very original album of Progressive heavy-metal tinted with folk-rock sounds and sung by two vocalists (Male and female). This superposition and the regular use of a guttural singing (In French) give a very particular approach of this musical style. Published by the Brennus label, "Métamorphose" was released in the Backstage studio (LYZANXIA) at the end of the year 2002. This album can be seen as a picture of the group's identity. Because of its youth and its originality, MORDIGGAN is of of the true hopes of the French heavy-metal scene, in the same level as MANIGANCE or HEAVENLY.
