Natural Science is a hot new band that hails from The Netherlands, a hotbed of high quality Prog bands. This is a well thought out album with metal riffs and carefully placed piano interludes. Precision stop and start rhythms and memorable melody lines make this album unpredictable but yet easy to follow. Vocalist, Roy Wassink has an interesting voice with an impressive range. The lyrics are thought provoking and very well written to flow along with the rich and memorable melodies. The band is influenced by such bands as Pain of Salvation, Spocks Beard, Threshold and Royal Hunt, but is still very original.
