Are you a Zeuhl music lover ? Are you also an obsessionnal collector having tendencies to frenetic and compulsive exhumation of old forgotten tapes ? So you thought that you knew everything about your fabourite kind of music and thought you possessed a complete discography ? You ended up developing a recurrent insatisfaction syndrome, driven to despair at the idea nothing more will surprise you in that field ? Guided by the works of the Thierry & Jean-Luc PAYSSAN brothers, who are to be reckoned with, the Musea laboratories have actually just published the result of their research. It resulted in one of the greatest discoveries of these last years: the only eponymous album of PSEU. Under that quite enigmatic patronymic hides one more avatar of the God MAGMA. But what an avatar ! Between 1979 et 1983, this band from Bordeaux (France) would play dark and absolute first-rate compositions associated with satirical, humorous or scathing lyrics. The technical level and the complexity of the writing are such that we end up wondering how this combo could fall into oblivion for such a long time... This is no easy-listening music, albeit unique, it can sometimes remind of that of a famous neighbour: UPPSALA. Warning ! There is addiction hazard to beware of: please read the instruction for use.
