Founded in 1981, BLASPHEME got to be one of the best bands of Eighties French heavy-metal. Its hard-rock sung in French can remind of TRUST, the local reference along with KILLERS. Let's notice an excellent rhythm section, as well as a brilliant guitarist. Marc FERY displays vocals as agressive as required. Real must-have, the eponymous album (1983) and "Désir De Vampyr" (1985) were producted by British Robert WOOD. They are now reissued on the Brennus label, in a remastered version that includes previously unreleased texts and photos.
