Randy George
Randy George is an American progressive rock musician/multi-instrumentalist specializing in bass guitar. He is best known for his work on the solo projects of Neal Morse (Transatlantic, Spock’s Beard) and has been on six studio albums and two live concert DVDs with Morse and world-renowned drummer, Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Dream Theater).
Randy is also a member of the progressive rock band, Ajalon, who captured the attention of Rick Wakeman of Yes fame. Wakeman signed Ajalon to his independent label, Hope Records, in 1996 and the band released their first album, Light at the End of the Tunnel, that same year. Ajalon has recorded three studio albums. Randy has worked on stage or in the studio with such artists as Rick Wakeman (Yes), Michael Manring, Phil Keaggy, David Ragsdale (Kansas), and Grammy award winning artist Nancy Rumbel, among others. He has appeared on recordings with Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Steve Hackett (Genesis), Nick DiVirgillio, Dave Meros & Alan Morse (Spock’s Beard), Roine Stolt (Flower Kings, Kaipa, The Tangent), Paul Gilbert (Mr Big, Racer X) Adrian Belew (King Crimson), and Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa, Alan Holdsworth). Completing his oeuvre of recordings are two solo instrumental albums: In the Light of the King’s Countenance (2004), and Action Reaction (2012). Tracks
