NO RESTRAINTS
In The Progressive Music Tradition
THE NAME NO RESTRAINTS: The band feels there is complacency in the music business that is leading to a lot of music following the same old formula of writing, recording and arrangement. Too many restraints on writing and recording leads to everyone sounding alike. Remove the restraints on the artists and bring back more original music! THE MUSIC STYLE: Prog Rock Pioneer Bands like Pink Floyd, ELP, King Crimson and Yes defined a new sound, music and market. Fans of this music are always looking for the next new direction and flavor of this great music. THE SOUND: The band NO RESTRAINTS takes this genre of great music further by exploring the mix of American Prog Rock that has it’s roots in the blues and traditional Euro Progressive Music that has a classical music influence.
