Mike Florio

After many frustrating and disappointing years of singing and playing keyboards with local bands, New York based musician and composer Mike Florio decided to produce his own album. Arisen, released in 2006, is the result of that endeavor. Arisen contains songs written over a period spanning many years, dating back to Mike's earliest musical influences and creative inspirations. Featuring a potent blend of progressive and classic rock, Arisen has been receiving great reviews, and is being played on many progressive rock web radio stations.

Mike continues to enjoy working on a variety of musical projects, and is currently at work on another solo album. Mike's musical tastes range from progressive and classic rock, to new age and film music. In addition to writing and recording songs, he also composes and produces a wide variety of electronic music.
