Adrian Zarate

Drummer and composer Adrian ZARATE is a member of the Mexican symphonic Progressive rock band SAENA. The style of his first album "De La A A La Z" (Gazul, 2009), shows a different musical approach though, getting closer to the Rock In Opposition movement. One may also establish links with some sort of complex Progressive rock music, not unlike Daniel DENIS' "Les Eaux Troubles" and especially influenced by Frank ZAPPA (With Terry BOZZIO). Some might even find some echoes of Hector ZAZOU's early works, to be filed under twenty-first Century chamber rock. Not to be missed !
