"Some Kind Of Clover" is "rocketclover's" debut-album which appeared 2009 at Progrock-Records. It features twelve Metallica- songs, two from each album from "Kill 'em all" to "Load", which are recorded in lots of different styles from swing and bossa-nova over country and rock to reggae and ska. Produced by Henning Pauly (worked with Sebastian Bach from "Skid Row", James La Brie from "Dream-Theater", Michael Sadler from "Saga" and many more) the album sounds a lot bigger and fatter then you would expect it from an acoustic-band. A few guest-musicians and the overdubbed guitars, mandolins ukeles, banjos and so on make it sound more like a good produced pop-album, but still with an acoustic organic feel. "rocketclover" was the winner of the "Your Tribute To Metallica"-Contest on YOUTUBE, that was why many people asked them to do a complete Metallica-Tribute-Album after hearing the rough webcam-recorded versions on YOUTUBE, which already made a lot of impression to Metallica-fans around the globe, as they were featured on big metallica-fansites, as "metallicamp.de". The Album now, is a professional produced piece of music. For Metallica-fans who want to hear their favourite songs in new interesting versions, as well as for fans of acoustic music, who might not like Metallica so far, this album is a must-have !!!
