clara luzia's story started back in 2005 when singer/songwriter clara was looking for a new musical collaborator who was soon to be found in producer alexander nefzger. they started working on clara's material, and soon understood that they need a backing band to realize their musical ambitions. clara and nefzger invited friends to play with them and soon had a quartet: clara (voc, guit), nefzger (keys), mika vember (cajon, backing vocals), and heidi dokalik (cello).
